Lowering Skies
I’m spending this cloudless Sunday trying to get things done as far as attempting to get this website up and running again. With work being busy, being in a bulk, having regular gym sessions, and the beginning of the holiday season…things are taking a toll on my motivation. Previously I had made a posting schedule for this site but that fell by the wayside quickly. I also had a technical issue this morning when I updated a plugin and it stopped me from having any access to my website or my WordPress admin controls. It also didn’t save the original draft of this post. The good news is that my website is through Blue Host and they fixed the issue through Live Chat and quickly! Gotta love a quick fix.
For my birthday this year, my coworkers made me a cake and put Relentless Advance on it, so I think that gave me a kick in the pants about getting this stuff going again. I also recently learned that “Relentless” was the original name of Amazon and it redirects. I thought that was another good reason to start this site up again and try to keep some kind of regular posting schedule.
My biggest goal for today is to get some updated photos of the Sturgeon Bay pierhead light house. The last time I was there was in March. The feature photo for this post is from March. I haven’t posted any new photos on Instagram since the beginning of November. I took some senior photos that I cannot post because they are of a work client and I knew that before I took them. They turned out great.
I’m looking to do a photoshoot of a bride in a nice car in the snow. I haven’t put any of the details together yet. I’m guessing that I cannot use an old antique car because snow/salt is bad for those classics. I may just have to rent an upscale car and use that. Currently, I’m also likely to be shooting my first wedding next October, so I need the practice of bridal photos.
